Alex Leal joined the SunCity Advising group of consultants as the Director of Client Services in 2015. He specializes in effective management of the company’s accounts and ensuring their satisfaction. Alex is a seasoned creative executive, social leader, and business developer. His experience originates from leading marketing and branding campaigns for nationwide clients in various industries including; startups and technology driven corporations, industrial oil and gas, fashion and jewelry and the food/beverage space.
After obtaining his degree in Management from the University of Texas he saw an opportunity to create value through online marketing by starting his own initiatives in strategy driven consultancy. Over the course of the past 5 years he has worked with clients across the country by creating forward-thinking value.

Sean is one of the original founders at SunCity and has participated in strategic marketing and analytics projects on 3 continents. His experience comes from a deep entrepreneurial background starting at the age of 18 with the founding of a green building firm. In addition, he has experience working on projects with Fortune 10 firms in the retail, technology, and energy sectors. He graduated with a BA in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and received his International MBA from the University of San Diego as a Dean’s Merit Scholar.

Marketing Advisor

Morgan Poor is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the School of Business at the University of San Diego, where she teaches Introduction to Advertising and Promotion to undergraduate and graduate students. Her research focuses on sensory marketing and message framing, with a special interest in how these factors influence and shape the actual consumption experience. Her work has been published in the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and the Journal of Consumer Marketing. Her work has also been featured in the popular press, including coverage by outlets such as The Today Show and New York Times Magazine. Dr. Poor obtained her Ph.D. in Business with a specialization in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an M.A. in Communications from the University of Kentucky.

Justine Rapp, PhD

Marketing Advisor

Justine Rapp is a Digital Marketing & Social Media professor at the University of San Diego, teaching courses at the undergraduate, MBA, and honors level. She believes that digital marketing should have all encompassing focus, integrating elements of branding, strategy, and tactical digital behaviors. She brings to the team an expertise in searching engine optimization, paid digital media, website design, and social media, as evidenced through her work with numerous nonprofits and small businesses in the San Diego area. Justine is also an avid researcher, focusing broadly on issues relating to consumer welfare. She has published her work in journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Advertising, and the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing. Justine received her PhD in Marketing from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and both her MBA (emphasis in Marketing) and Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (major in Marketing) from the Villanova School of Business.

Ivan is a San Diego native with a background in political consulting, startups and renewable energy strategy. He graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Political Science and received his MBA from the University of San Diego where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholar. His ability to bring teams into alignment behind a unified strategy makes him a true leader capable of helping our customers realize the synergies gained from using a holistic approach.
